Australian Zeolites are known to be some of the oldest Zeolites in the world, dated at approximately 300 Million years old.
Australian Zeolites differs from most due to its hardness, color and the fact that it has no soluble salts. This is due to the circumstances of its formation. Natural differences such as temperature, geographic location and the ratio & concentration of various salts determine which particular Zeolite minerals are formed.
Our Australian Zeolite is crystaline which makes it a very hard Zeolite compared to other Zeolite deposits. Once processed to the required size, it holds its size under typical handling and from a wetting or drying process. Our Australian Zeolite is approximately 85% Clinoptilolite and 15% Mordenite.
